Beautiful pen, very elegant.

This is probably the smoothest writing fountain pen I have ever used; well balanced and comfortable in the hand. Not being from an affluent family, I used the cheaper pens while at school in the fifties and sixties - brands which have long disappeared, like Osmiroid and Platignum, and also, being left-handed I found them to be awkward to use, and not a little scratchy. This Nebula is an order of magnitude better - it's like writing with silk, if that's not a confusing comparison.
Filling is easy; I use bottled ink for the most part, as my local stationer seems to have a confusion of cartridges which do not fit the pen - the short 'standard' cartridges are the ones that I can guarantee to fit, but only one at a time; the barrel is too short to hold a 'spare', so it's the bottle to the rescue. Maybe I'll order cartridges from here next time....

This is a must use pen when I go to students’ as a home tutor in mathematics. So balanced in the hand and smooth to write with.
Judy F.
I love the pen!! It was easy to fill and writes very smoothly.
Patricia H.
Love the color, and love the feel as I write. Smooth and perfect. This really is as amazing as they said it would be. I seriously doubted what was being said, but writing with it made a believer out if me. My new favorite pen.
Su R.
Writes very nicely. I enjoy using a fine writing instrument, & this qualifies.
Christopher M.
This pen is very smooth on paper and in the hand. Its rather wet, without being drippy, so I recommend an ink that responds well in gusher-pens. Its actually the only pen I have that can properly show Birmingham Pen ink color Icterine which is really light in a F or VF nib. There is no line variation to speak of with this steel nib but given its smoothness, I don't think thats a negative.
Janet W.
I like the look and weight of the pen. It feels good writing with it. It has a smooth flow. I am pleased with this pen and would recommend it.
Carol L.
I haven't had a fountain pen since I was in high school (circa 1960 - 1964). I had forgotten the nice feeling in my hand. I took a chance on this pen and LOVE it.
Beverly J.
I LOVE my new fountain pen. At first I could not get it to write without skipping. But I let it sit awhile so that the ink could get into the nib, and I wrote with it the next day! I wrote a "thank you" notecard to my BFF for my Birthday gifts!
Now, she will probably want me to address all her cards and invites because of the character a fountain pen lends to ones handwritten communications.
Kent C.
This pen writes beautifully. I have some more expensive pens but this writes easier and has fewer problems than the others. Both of the pens have I have purchased from you all are a delight!
Rachel WN B.
This is a beautiful pen, but the ink does not flow consistently. I am not new to writing with a fountain pen, but the refill on this one has challenged me. Am I not filling it correctly?
Rachel Brown.

I love the way it feels in my fingers when I do writing and the way it writes it's a beautiful pen I would recommend it to anyone if they like to write
Theresa L.
I am a calligrapher and I love beautiful writing tools and this one is great. Thank you.
jillkendrick s.
A pen in red! My favorite color. Everything I write with this will be lucky and we will all prosper!
Bobi T.
Would appreciate instructions on how to fill the pen.
Are finer points available?
Linda W.
It was a bit of a challenge to figure out the ink. I was a little too gentle with the cartridge, but a bit more effort paid off. I was happy to get it working, because it is a wonderful pen. It made for nice writing when I had to make an unexpected sympathy card for a colleague who lost her mother. I think it made the card look especially nice.
Cheryl S.
Such a flashy writing instrument!!
Kevin F.
Writes surprisingly well. Runs any ink I've tried in it. It does tend to dry the nib in a few days, but is quickly cleared with just a touch of warm water. Probably the easiest nib to clear, ever! Writes very well. Not too wet with a reliable line. Doesn't skip, even when off center, and very, very smooth. Much, much better than I expected.
Ski G.
I like the build of the pen. I am however trying to figure out how I am supposed to get ink into the pen so that I can use it for writting. The pen came with no instructions what-so-ever.
Chris M.
The pen is solidly built and it feels good in your hand. The finish is top notch. I love the fact it came with a converter. The nib was hard to get the ink flowing. Also the nib dries up too fast. It seems that the pen must be in constant use so that the ink keep flowing. Other than that, it is a well-made pen.
Cully W.
Well balanced & comfortable in hand. The ink flows smoothly and looks great.
Pat B.
Christmas present for my daughter. She loved it. Thank you for helping make her so happy.
Charlotte D.
Beautiful pen, nice weight, smooth writing, easy to fill
Cheryl S.
I'm having a time figuring out how the cartridges fit inside the pen. They are lovely otherwise.
Geraldine Y.
I was quite surprised at how well made this pen turned out to be. Has a nice, slightly heavy, feel in the hand. It is my first pen with the fill action so I was able to use some beautiful peacock blue ink in it for my Christmas cards. The fill action worked easily and I didn't make a mess! Thank you!
Barbara M.
I have just recently begun collecting fountain pens - in large part due to Too Shiny For Ya's brilliant ad campaign. I have purchased at least a dozen, some of them for Christmas presents, as I firmly believe every "millenial" should learn to write with a good fountain pen. Every pen I've received has been high quality, beautiful, and weighty. It is important to me that a fountain pen is balanced and heavy. The nibs are gorgeous and I'm very impressed with the overall beauty of each pen. The Nebula Piano went to my two sons and one SIL for Christmas. The DILs and our daughter received pens from the cloisonné' collection. All of them were duly impressed, as am I

NICE PEN....GOOD FIT TO MY HAND........... THANKS, AG-----------------
Nancy S.
Nice heft for writing, yet lightweight. Cap fits on barrel neatly, securely and easily. Smooth writing from the nib, no sqibs. Very nice! Attractive in red; stands out.
Don R.
Very nice pen. Writes smoothly. I must confess it takes a little practice to learn how to write legibly. Only complaint i have is with the ink cartridge. It's difficult to fill. Also I did not receive instructions with my pen.
Charles K.
For the price the Nebual Piano Black tone/case is fantastic. The ease of cleaning and filling the barrel is remarkable. I was VERY SKEPTICAL about the quality prior to receiving the pen but it didn't take long to see this pen is quality. I've now ordered a felt tip Nebula and an additional 2 fountain pens. I'm anxiously waiting for them. Thanks for the fantastic writing instruments!
Sharon H.
I have always preferred to use a fountain pen. This one is nicely balanced and writes smoothly, even with arthritic fingers. The fill feature is mess-free as well--a real bonus!
Harry B.
Love fountain pens
Phil H.
I love it. I usually write with a very fine-point pen and prefer a narrow barrel, but I enjoy the heft of this pen. Sad to say, I may have damaged the nib. I can mostly write only by holding the pen with the nib upside down.
Maria F.
Just a nice pen...reminds me of my youth but w/o the messy ink that would get all over. Quite pleased
Dennis H.
Ordered 6 and got 4 pens.
Sherry W.
Beautiful pen - writes very smooth!

Classic look, feels good in my hand. Writes smoothly.
Al G.
Loving my Nebula! Looks good, is the right weight, comfortable grip and of course writes smooth.
Barbara B.
I love the way it feels and writes. I bought the red one and just love to use it.
Gary B.
Really like the pen and since I like the color red I was already half way there.
Homer D.
It has become my favorite pen for daily use! Doesn’t cause fatigue in my hand which is wonderful since I have arthritis!

First of all I have a list of things I want to see in a fountain pen. 1) does the cap post. 2) does it use a piston converter, or does the body act as a reservoir. 3) is the pen long enough for a bigger hand to use comfortably.
This pen checks all those off. It uses a converter, which is my favorite. I don't mind when the body has to be filled with a dropper, but I can't stand cartridges, and I have two pen that only will use those...They sit a drawer unused because of that. This pen also posts wonderfully without the cap falling off even under the most rapid of hand movements. Since I use my pens for art about half of the time that is important. The pen is not huge, but is long enough for my hand, especially when the cap is posted.
Plus the pen is some sort of covered metal construction through and through. That makes it on the heavier side. For me, that is great. Light pens are uncomfortable and I tend to grip them harder, putting undue strain on my hands. I draw with both hands, so this part also becomes a selling point.
However, the only down side is that the nib has just a bit more flex than I like. That is only when I write with it. For drawing it is perfect. So it is in my art studio ready to be used for those purposes. But I don't carry it with me for my writing.
I will also say this. I have the red one. It is beautiful. Classic and simple in it's design. I have some really fancy pens. I've lost my appeal for that. This one is shiny, but understated. Just a simple pipe shape that is right up my ally. I even prefer it to the cigar shapes, although if done simply that is good too. I love how the ink flows freely from the nib. Cleanup is a breeze. And when filling the piston I dip the whole nib in my bottle of ink. So the nib is ready to go without delay. Cleaning the nib of the excess ink is quick and easy, and there has not been one leak or one excess drip.
Over all...from a scale of 1 to 10 I give the Nebula Piano a 9.5. It is one my my favorite pens, and I have dozens.
I plan to start a YouTube channel showing my art and review of pens. I've already decided that this will be the first pen I use. That should be up and running in November, 2020.

' love writing... with pens, as it should always be!
Carter C.
Pen looks and writes good. Glad to add to my collection.
Dan B.
Well, I’ll tell you: I really really love this pen. Aside from a VERY expensive fountain pen (that I was given as a gift years ago and stays at my desk at home) this pen has become the favorite of my harem that floats around with my journal. I feels very balanced in my hand. For the price, I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Charles C.
The Nebula Piano is a smooth-writing instrument that is a pleasure to use.
William B.
I was surprised how excellently the pen looked and felt as I wrote with it. The pen was excellently priced and writes as good as the more expensive brands. Don't miss out on this one.
Judy K.
Love this pen! Well balanced and a delight to hold!

27th Aug 2020, Dear Sirs, I can't write any comment 'cause I don't have one of those great looking "writing tools". I very much like to have 2 of them for free (colourd red and black, broad pen), as you offered in your post. You would make me very happy. Here is my email: angelika.duehnfort@gmx.de, please contact me, looking forward to your answer. Thank you very much, yours Angelika Dühnfort, Germany

I love it. It's as good as some I have that I paid 5 times as much for
Jose R.
So gentle to my touch, my hand barely notice it, thank you!
Matthew B.
Excellent writing stroke!
Toni W.
This pen looks and feels fabulous. Writes smoothly. Great price.
Linda F.
I love this pen! I have always loved fountain pens, but it was difficult to find one that was affordable. This one meets that desire and works like a dream.
Hugh B.
Elegant, contemporary design is simply beautiful. Nice heft, metal construction. I like the metal grip section and the elegant design of this pen. Lays down a nice medium line with very good, smooth feel.
Danny S.
This is a fabulous pen. It is red, of course. So I filled it with red ink and I use it as my mark-up pen. It makes me feel very professional.
Jo P.
I have received 4 beautiful fountain pens so far with another on the way! I have an eclectic collection including Mont Blanc, Montegrappa, Conway Stewart etc and rate these very highly! Lovely to use and excellent to add to my collection
Janet H.
I have received most pens and have given as gifts so sorry no photos yet.
The pens and ink are superb quality and genuinely just flow on the page? I have arthritis in my right hand (40 years of teaching)
but I try hard to maintain my writing instead of typing all the time.
These pens are simultaneously lovely.
Ryan S.
Beautiful pen that feels great when writing. The ink flows smoothly. It looks great when not using as well.
George S.
Writing is a pleasure. Light weight and an even flow of ink.
Burklee G.
Very nice pen. I definitely like the look of it, and it feels nicely balanced in my hand.
Dave D.
Great flow from the nib. Beautiful design and wow, what a great price! You won't be disappointed at all.
Gary B.
What's really very striking about this pen is its bright flaming red color and its minimalist design.
It is also a fine writer: a bit on the dry side, but not so much that it feels scratchy and uncomfortable.
I would definitely give thumbs up on this instrument. I'm glad I have it as part of my collection. Many thanks to, "To Shiny For Ya".
Wayne M.
Comfortable in hand. Smooth writing. Very enjoyable instrument.
